Hey Hey Now!

Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word about the giveaway and the new followers of the blog! I am glad to have you and I hope you enjoy the funny tales of my awkwardness!

Also sorry for the hiatus, I just returned from my mini vacation late Monday night and I am still trying to get situated. I thought I would have the time to update this everyday but I see that may not be the case but I will continue to do my best.

I never told you guys how my last interview went but let’s just say it was very weird. I think the principal may have been trying to see how tough my skin was because she kept telling me several things. The main point, being that the school may decide not fill the position because they really didn’t have to. It got really awkward because she stated this after every question, almost. Speaking of questions, I answered the most at this interview, which was about 25-30!  I think I know I did well and I kept the questions rolling on out! 

I have had calling JCPS about a Sub position on my to do list for about a week and a half. I had the number typed in my phone ready to dial but decided to check my application first. So I get on the website and see that my foolish self, has clicked on the wrong job to apply for. Silly me! So now I have completed the right application and will actually call the substation in two days, which will give the application time to process. I am also in the works of applying to some different childcare facilities, so I will keep you updated on that.

3 A Day Rant!!

--My mini vacation was fun and relaxing. It was a nice get away from the problems that I seem to be facing in life. I will admit that sometimes when I am with my family, I just feel in the way! I can charge that feeling to my awkwardness, I suppose. I am a true introvert! The fact that I get loud and act silly with my kiddos surprises me but I love it! 

--I am glad that I checked on that subbing application and settled my mistake. I am looking forward to subbing because it’s a foot into the door. Several people have told me that they had to sub for a whole year before they were hired, so I am ready to do the work. I am ready to fight for my job hunty! Lol. I also have a feeling that maybe some schools are iffy about hiring a first year teacher this late into the school year. I wish I could convince them that I am not scared of #TheStruggle. Seems like all I know how to do is brave it through one problem after another. I was not created to be defeated, yes God!!!!

--Today is my birthday! I am 25 years young! I don’t feel like it and a lot of people would say that I don’t look like it. I told the kids that it was my birthday and they were like, so why are you here! I tried to explain to them that I have to work to pay bills and to live by myself but they was not trying to hear it, lol. I get off at three so I will spend the rest of my day with my mom and granny. I believe I will have a few people over maybe next weekend, for some adult conversation and fun. Teachers and anyone who works with kids on the daily, will understand that one.

Also, I will post some picture of some of the things that I have painted in a later post, so that you may get a taste of what I can do with the picture frame that is being given away.
